To our valued clients, Due to the impact of the COVID-19 virus, we have had to review our daily operations to come up with a business plan that allows us to do our part to help prevent the spread of the virus while still providing our clients with quality service. We have come to the difficult decision to follow the lead of many businesses, including our insurance peers. While our office will continue to provide the same services to our current and prospective clients, beginning on Friday, March 20, 2020 we will implement the following changes:
Any of our clients that pay their premiums directly to us in person, will need to begin to make payments using one of the following options:
1. Via the drop box installed in our front door (see our office address above). 2. Directly to the insurance company. Please note that payment information should be included in your billing statement from the company. 3. Electronically to your insurance company, please see our website at www.bigbearins.com for the applicable contact information. 4. By calling our office at 850-222-4494 and providing credit card or e-check information. 5. By mail to our office (see our office address above).
All payment guidelines will still apply such as due dates, grace periods and any other terms as dictated by your insurance company and policy. The only thing changing regarding payments is that we will no longer accept in person payments.
As mentioned above, the services provided by our office will not change, we will still be assisting clients and prospective clients with:
1. Providing renewals and/or new quotes 2. Answering any questions 3. Assisting with the resolution of any issues, including claim issues
We are able to do all of the above via phone and/or online and ask that you reach out to us during our normal office hours, Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. at 850-222-4494 or by email at mcoon@bigbearins.com.
The service we provide to our clients remains our top priority. These changes are temporary, and we will notify you when we open the office back up to in person visits/payments.
